There are moments in a woman’s life that shape how she relates to her body, her power, and her place in the world. Across cultures and generations, these thresholds were honoured through ceremony. Lovingly witnessed, held, and celebrated. Seasons of Life is a ceremonial series devoted to restoring these rites of passage through intentional, embodied, and heart centred gatherings. Each ceremony honours a distinct phase of life and aligns with the cyclical wisdom of the feminine.
FIRST MOON ~ Honouring Menarche
A girl’s first moon is a sacred threshold, a quiet awakening to her body, her cycles, and her inner knowing. This ceremony invites her to walk through this threshold with gentleness and reverence, surrounded by witness and love. Together we create a space where blessings flow, hearts are held, and the threads of connection between generations are honoured. There may be an opportunity for craft-making, creating a tangible keepsake to carry the memory of this passage, and snacks and beverages will be shared in the warmth of the circle.
In this sacred container, we honour the first steps into Maidenhood, root into body wisdom and self trust, and prepare for the years of change ahead. Mothers, aunties, sisters, and trusted women are welcomed to witness, to celebrate, and to remember alongside the initiate.
Space is sacred. Presence is medicine.
Pricing: The Maidenhood Ceremony is offered at $175 per initiate. This cost is traditionally covered by the mother, with the option for other women in the initiate’s life to contribute together as a shared gift.
Each initiate may bring up to four guests. We encourage mothers, aunties, big sisters, little sisters, and family friends to attend as witnesses.
